For all things NIS, be it Disgaea, Guided Fate Paradox, Witch and the Hundred Knights, Phantom Brave or any of their many older titles, this thread is for that. This thread is for the games developed inhouse by NIS and not the games only published by them, like Compile Heart's Neptunia series. If you have never played a NIS game, most are turn based strategy games with gamebreaking mechanics(the max level is 9999) and over the top special moves, a few are roguelikes, and Witch and the Hundred Knights is an action rpg. I'm currently playing Disgaea Dimension 2 myself, have to say I kind of miss fusion and magichange, but it's good to see Laharl and co again as the stars, as the original trio has always been the strongest main cast of the Disgaea games in my opinion, Laharl being my favorite main character followed by Valvatorez. Raspberyl is also now available for free on the US PSN, and if you haven't already picked them up, Desco and Fuka are free on Hong Kong PSN and it works for the US version. If you plan to buy Disgaea D2 in the future, I suggest not getting the digital version and going for the physical copy, the digital version seems to suffer from tons of bugs that crash the game. I'm also playing ZHP Unlosing Ranger for the time, I missed out on it when it came out some few years back due to not having a psp, so far died a few times, I mostly just ran out of food in dungeons and starved, so I've started farming the first stage to stockpile food before going into new dungeons. To start with some simple questions, what is your favorite NIS game? and who is your favorite main character?
