Fortune's neutral game & normals

    Hi guys. Recently picked up this game and am having great fun with fortune. I can consistently pull off a basic combo but i struggle online with getting in and other basics. I saw khaosmuffins guide but im not sure if its still applicaple to this patch. A quick listing of her notable normals would be really amazing. Thanks !

    s.LP is your fastest light
    c.LK is your go-to move for a low and a good move for hitting/moving your head
    s.MK for your standard hit-confirm
    s.HP (headed) for a long-ranged poke
    j.LK is your go-to air move
    j.HP for instant overhead

    I think that's it?

    i would mention j.HK purely for its hitbox but its kinda slow.

    J.lk is a good air to ground move but j.mp is what you use if you are trying to contest the air space.

    If you are fast enough to hit confirm with s.hk xx hk rekka then you can get a combo from max poke range which is super useful for frametraps among other things.

    J.hp is ok now, its inconsistent as an IO, your best bet is to use j.lk. IADJHP is not the best with fortune, your better off just getting above them.

    Instant Overhead. Generally refers to jumping, air dashing (optional, depends on the opponents character), and then attacking, all as fast as possible. If you're trying to reset your opponent by going for an IO, j.HP is probably you're best bet, as it easily confirms combo, does a nice bit of damage without scaling the combo, and has a whacky hit-box that can in some cases cross people up.

    j.LK is way better than j.HP and should be your main approaching normal, but don't sleep on j.HP. IAD j.HP after a c.LP or c.LK is really good way to open people up, ESPECIALLY if their crouching as the move will even cross up sometimes. j.HP xx LK or MK Axe Kick is a good pressure string. Doing IAD j.HP, after a j.HP in a combo is one of my favorite resets ever, so much so that I do it constantly and nobody ever gets hit by it anymore.
