Dolchebon Stage
August 22, 2009
Hello SG fans!
Here's one of the stages I'm currently working on along with a few illustrations. Me and Alex talked about a 1930's club stage concept where the girls would fight on the street surrounded by a colorful cast of NPCs enjoying the show, complete with a skeleton brass band playing a variation of SG's theme song.
The stage is very unpolished at this point. The overall look and color scheme will probably change as we develop the final output and bring everything together.
A huge inspiration for this stage was Tex Avery's "Red Hot Riding Hood". Back when I was a kid, I've never seen anything like what Tex did with his cartoons. Twisting an old fairy tale into something new and different back then was so unparalleled that I couldn't stop watching it. It still holds its place as one of my favorite childhood cartoons.
They don't make cartoons like they used to.
Keep your eyeballs glued to this blog folks! I'm currently finishing up on another project and once I'm done with that I'll resume my SG duties.

This is Alpha of Team Less Than Three <3. I'd like to welcome everyone to the new site! As Alex said we had to re-design the site from scratch to better suit the needs of everyone. I hope you like the new format and we'll implement more content in the near future as we progress with our development.
Many thanks to John Walsh and Shawn Coty for putting this together. We've had a lot of events that unfolded prior to the website launch; from life obstacles to malicious code infecting our test blog, yet none of that really mattered since we've persevered, kept it consistent, and prevailed.
Developing Skullgirls has been a huge roller-coaster ride. We had our share of peaks and valleys throughout the years and we've gained a lot of experience from our past endeavors. Like everything that exists in this world, it takes time, hard work and action to create something extraordinary.
Free time has been a luxury for our team. We all have day jobs and responsibilities to uphold and we constantly balance our time and priorities to make ends meet. The day will come when we will all decide to pursue this full-time, and the end result will be a fighting game that will make its mark in the independent gaming scene.
I'll leave you folks tonight with a couple of recent illustrations and concepts I did in refining the world of SG. Enjoy!
Thanks once again to those who stopped by and keep plugged in for more news to come!
